Originally created by @lampwins on GitHub (Mar 4, 2019).

Environment

  • Python version: 3.7
  • NetBox version: 2.5.7

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Have exiting Tenant(s)
  2. Try to filter tenants in the API using the slug filter /api/tenancy/tenants/?slug=tenant-1
  3. Also try to use the q filter, expecting the slug field to be searched.

Expected Behavior

Tenant objects to be filtered by the slug field

Observed Behavior

The slug field is not used in the filter (because it is absent in the field list and the search function).
