Given that all these creative new airflow signatures keep coming up, maybe the more expedient path would be to make DeviceAirflowChoices configurable by the admin.

As i was just about to open a issue for something similar, but for Racks: Maybe consider making it configurable for Racks as well. Especially Outdoor Shelters tend to have special airflow.
