Use case

as far as i can see is not possible to change an already added device hostname wich is a problem for android device that don't have the ability to choose it in the app and because of that every android device hostname defaults to "localhost" wich is also how they are reported in the log wich makes it pretty unreadable

You can, there is a node rename command for this purpose.
