Formerly all IPs configured on an interface were displayed, which I totally get annoyed some people, thus a customizable change was proposed in #14645. This was only partially fulfilled, as the change was made, but not customizable.

Please do add an option - preferably on a user based level - to disable that 'feature' added in commit 749fc31.

Use case

I myself want information displayed without having to hop through thousands of tabs, bookmarks, submenus and other pages. I do work on a proper workstation with multiple screens of adequate size, not on a mobile phone. So while I get the demand to limit the amount of information on a certain page for devices that are small and would require a lot of scrolling, I on the other hand do want to raise awareness that this is not the only way to work and people with screens that don't fit in a pocket do still exist (and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future).

Database changes

I'm not aware of any necessity here.
