Proposed functionality

Upgrade guide have a lot of manual steps because there are a lot of files/folders that I don't think it should be there.

My suggestion is to move folders/files like /opt/netbox-X.Y.Z/netbox/media/, /opt/netbox-X.Y.Z/netbox/scripts and /opt/netbox-X.Y.Z/netbox/reportsto a folder /var/netbox or something like that.

Upgrade any netbox version easier

This functionality is already provided. You can refer to the docs at https://docs.netbox.dev/en/stable/configuration/system/ and change the path as per your needs.
