Steps to Reproduce

  1. Go to home page
  2. Enter an IP address or part of IP address in the search bar
  3. From the drop down, change "All Objects" to "IP addresses"
  4. Click the search button

Expected Behavior

Search dropdown should remain set to "IP addresses"

Observed Behavior

The search result is correctly displayed at /ipam/ip-addresses/?q=10.12.0, but the dropdown has changed back to "All Objects".

Hence if I modify the search value, it becomes a global search unless I re-select the dropdown.

It also means that the search results you see (a table of IP addresses only) don't match what's shown at the top of the page (suggesting that it's all objects):
