NetBox version

v3.2.1

Feature type

New functionality

Proposed functionality

Thumbnail page gives sets of thumbnails of rack elevations on whole and queried rackes like RackTables. If row number is defined, it shows racks according the row number.

(Example) RackTables that I managed
racktables-rack-thumbnail

(Example) RackTables Screenshot
https://www.racktables.org/screenshots.php

Use case

It is hard to look see rack elevations at a glance in current NetBox. Figures on current NetBox is so huge, and it does not show racks at a glance.

This page gives set of thumbnails, so it is good for notice rack status at a glacne. Also, it has no next button and scrolling is enough to look the status.

I think that percentages on space of rack list (netbox/dcim/racks) cannot tell the enough space in the rack. Somebody could intentionally insert space between devices.

Database changes

Row number would be added.
