NetBox version

v3.1.6

Feature type

Change to existing functionality

Proposed functionality

Add WWN as a searched field in /dcim/interfaces "Search" field on the Filters tab. This would make searching for partial WWNs workable.

Use case

When managing lots of errors, being able to search on partial WWNs cuts down on time/effort to diagnose root cause. It also helps when auditing connections/cabling.

In addition, it brings WWN into feature parity with other interface properties such as Name and Description which are searchable through the "Search" field.

Database changes

None that I'm aware of

External dependencies

Nothing new
