NetBox version

v3.0.6

Python version

3.7

Steps to Reproduce

Repro can be done on demo.netbox.dev

  1. Make your browser window smaller than 1700x1300 at least. I don't know the exact size it starts at or if it is even related to size.
  2. Unpin the nav bar.
  3. Very quickly open, close, and open the nav bar with the mouse.

Expected Behavior

The submenus will operate normally

Observed Behavior

The NetBox logo text will disappear and opening a submenu will quickly close on its own

I also faced this issue when I first tested the release with the new UI. I am not able to reproduce it though.

I´m able to reproduce this on my local 3.0.4 instance and on demo. And, to me, doesn´t matter the window size.

Firefox (Windows 64-bit) in my case. Must have been release 90 or 91 the time I faced this issue.

What browser are you using?

Chrome 94.0.4606.81, Edge 94.0.992.38 and Firefox 93.0. Can reproduce on all of them.

I observe the same behavior as step number 3 regardless of the size of the window. Using Brave browser.
