Just drag & drop a device and move it to the height you want within the rack or between racks.

Use case

When you (physical) move devices or placed the devices at the wrong height you need to edit every device every time manual.

This would require a huge investment of effort on the front end, and we're currently focused on the overhaul for version 3.0 Perhaps this would be better undertaken as a plugin. Once a volunteer has come up with a working proof of concept, we can look at what would be required to port it into NetBox core.
