Unplugging a cable doesn't return to the tab you left #4525

Environment

  • Python version: 3.7.8
  • NetBox version: 2.10.3

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a cable between two devices.
  2. Go to the Interfaces tab on one of the devices and click the "Remove Cable" button.
  3. Confirm removal of cable on confirmation screen.

Expected Behavior

Return to the Interfaces tab of the device the cable was removed from.

Observed Behavior

Return to the Device tab of the device the cable was removed from.

Assuming that the page in question still exists, returning to where you started feels like the correct behavior.

Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
