Environment

  • Python version: 3.6.9
  • NetBox version: 2.9.10

Proposed Functionality

It was noticed that tenant search is case sensitive. With Latin symbols is ok, this only affects Cyrillic characters. Can you change it to case insensitive?
I suppose the problem can be much deeper and concerns not only tenants.

Use Case

If you have many clients which are represented as tenants it will be much easier to search and work with them.

I am not seeing any case sensitivity for tenants. Could you elaborate more?

@DanSheps , thanks for attention. I checked again and with Latin symbols is ok. Really, this only affects Cyrillic characters.
I suppose the problem can be much deeper and concerns not only tenants.

@proudbro this is likely dependent on the database configuration, and may not be something that we can control. Is there a specific change you'd like to propose?
