Environment

  • Python version: 3.8.0
  • NetBox version: 59e99dd80296 (v2.9.8)

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Trying to assign ip address after create interface witch belongs to virtual machine
  2. ip_addr_dict={'address': '10.254.12.74/25', 'status': 'active', 'assigned_object_type': 'virtualization.interfaces', 'assigned_object_id': 49, 'role': ''}
  3. new_ip = nb.ipam.ip_addresses.create(ip_addr_dict)

Expected Behavior

Expecting assigned ip address to virtual machine interface with id 49

Observed Behavior

Exception

after exploring the source code, i've found that i must use virtualization.vminterface but it's not crystal clear
