Platforms page doesn't display the number of devices and has wrong hyperlink #3890

Environment

  • Python version: 3.6
  • NetBox version: 2.8.8

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Goto https://server/dcim/platforms/

Expected Behavior

The Devices column has a number that reflects the number of devices bound to that platform
The hyperlink of that number points to the devices page with search string included

Observed Behavior

The number is always zero even though a manual search shows lots of devices using the platform.

The hyperlink points to the device page but with the filter of role and not platform. The code that creates this appears to be:

Note this seems to be the same for virtual machines. I don't use them so can't confirm but the hyperlink suggests the same problem.
