Role assigned to a VM does not change tag letter color with bright/dark background #3763

Environment

  • Python version: 3.7.7
  • NetBox version: v2.8.5

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create device role with a bright background label and "VM role" enabled:
    netbox_device_role_view
  2. Create a Virtual Machine and assign above created tag

Expected Behavior

If device role tag background is bright, the letters should be black
netbox_virtual_machine_table_fixed

Observed Behavior

In the virtual machine view the letters are always white even on a bright background
