Environment

  • Python version: 3.6.9
  • NetBox version: 2.7.10

Proposed Functionality

Use a vertical bar alongside a rack elevation to indicate the presence of a rack elevation, instead of or in addition to the striped blue background.

Use Case

Devices may be installed in a reserved rack unit, which blocks the display of the striped background indicating that the unit is reserved. For example, suppose U1-10 are reserved but a device is occupying U5-6: It's not immediately clear to the user whether units 5 and 6 are reserved. Annotating the reservation alongside each unit ensures that it can be seen whether or not the unit is occupied.
