Environment

  • Python version: 3.6.8
  • NetBox version: 2.7.2

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Just try to create a device, leaving the name field empty.

Expected Behavior

Like in older Netbox versions, the device should be created, to then be shown in the rack view with its device_type name.

Observed Behavior

The device is not created, giving a duplication error :

no_name_creation

Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
