Environment

  • Python version: 3.5.4
  • NetBox version: 2.3.6

Add Add QSFP+ 100gb to x4 SFP+ 25gb break-out cables under interfaces / form factor. This is a pretty common cable that is used.

Proposed Functionality

We have Arista 100gb switches and supermicro 4 nodes 2U chassis. 4 servers in 1 2U chassis. We use these break-out cables to connect our switches to our servers.

Use Case

No new field or model, just an interface under form factor.

Database Changes

No dependencies.

Further, breakout cables have been discussed before and declined due to the current cable/interface model. Please search as this will also result in this being closed as a duplicate if you.are not asking for the correct thing. (Hint, most configurations still model interfaces as a specific models, the only thing missing to model properly might be a cable type)
