Add Building PortMaps to Cable Trace #2429

Environment

  • Python version: Python 2.7.15rc1
  • NetBox version: 2.5.7

Proposed Functionality:

Allow upload of building maps/floorplans of some sort, with the ability to either drag and drop port locations, or add en-masse to the map/picture and have these locations show up in the Cable Trace section.

Use Case:

User traces cable path from Patch frame out to end device location, across potentially multiple sections to a geographic location.

Database Changes

New end device type (User PC, Net adapter etc)

External Dependencies

No.
