Steps to Reproduce :

  • Edit interface device
  • Primary MAC Address , click the "+" button
  • Enter a MAC Address
  • Click the "Create" button

Expected behavior:
The new MAC address should be created and automatically linked to the interface being edited.

Observed behavior:
After clicking Create, the MAC Address field becomes empty and displays the error “This field is required.”
Additionally, the interface becomes deselected.

Also reproduced on the official demo site: h[tt]ps://demo.netbox.dev/
