Deployment Type

Self-hosted

NetBox Version

v4.3.7

Python Version

3.10

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a device (e.g. XX-TEST01) with interface type "5G" and interface name SIM1.
  2. Create a circuit with Termination Z set to a provider network and Termination A set to the location where XX-TEST01 resides.
  3. Under the circuit’s Termination A, click Connect, choose "Interface", and select XX-TEST01 as a device.
  4. Observe that the SIM1 interface is not available.

Expected Behavior

  1. The SIM1 interface should appear in the drop-down menu, as it did prior to upgrading to v4.3.4.

Observed Behavior

  1. The SIM1 interface is not in the list and therefore there's no way to connect this type of a circuit to a physical device with 5G interfaces.

Thanks for the report, @denjs . This is actually a result of fixing bug #19687, which actually shipped in v4.3.3. There was some follow up discussion in the original ticket after this was shipped, but ultimately nothing came of it. If you'd like to review that conversation and submit a FR along the lines of what was discussed, please do.
