Deployment Type

Self-hosted

NetBox Version

v4.3.1

Python Version

3.12

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Attach an image to a device type. (In this example I used 500x500 JPEG)
  2. Hover mouse over the image name

Expected Behavior

The image should appear fully visible

Observed Behavior

The image is partially cut off on the right side, and a horizontal scroll bar appears. If I scroll to the right (shift+scroll on MacOS) then I can see the full image, and then when I mouse off, the scroll bar disappears and the page "jumps" back.

There's a proposal (#19591) to move image attachments to a separate tab entirely, which would resole this issue.

I believe this will be addressed by the combination of #18204 & #19591 in NetBox v4.4.
