NetBox Version

v4.2.8

Python Version

3.12

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Click on a device
  2. Click on interfaces tab
  3. select the checkbox beside one or more interfaces and click edit selected
  4. edit any fields other than type
  5. click submit

Expected Behavior

The object(s) should be updated with the selected fields.

Observed Behavior

The UI refocuses on the Type field, but no error text is displayed.

thanks for reporting this! It looks like this is a duplicate of #19275 – Interface Bulk Edit requires interface "type". A fix for this issue is scheduled for release in v4.2.9.
I also double checked the front and rear ports.
