Deployment Type

Self-hosted

NetBox Version

v4.2.6, v3.7.5

Python Version

3.11

Steps to Reproduce

First of all, if this request has already been addressed, I apologize for the duplicity.

Build the path from one device to another using:
1. Cable from the interface (switch for example) to the 2xFront port (ODF for example)
2. Splice from the Rear port using for example 24 positions to the second ODF (could be through Circuit and 2x cables on both ends of the circuit)
3. Cable from the second ODF from the 2xFront ports to the third ODF as the 2xRear ports
4. Cable from the third ODF from the 2xFront ports to the interface of the device (switch for example)

Expected Behavior

Cable trace starting from both sides should show completed path.

Observed Behavior

This results in path-split when looking to the Cable trace from the first (in the list above) switch point of view.
Cable trace from the second device view (from the oposite side) is bult correctly.

I can share screenshots later if needed, but I prefer private channel.

I think this is likely a duplicate of https://github.com/netbox-community/netbox/issues/16832.
