Proposed functionality

I'm using Netbox for Data Center applications where BacNET and ModBus are frequently employed.

When adding a new interface type, I would like the following EIA/TIA serial communication family:

  • RS-232 (point-to-point, lower noise immunity)
  • RS-422 (differential signaling, one driver)
  • RS-485 (differential signaling, multi-drop)

Use case

Correctly characterize the interface being used.

Database changes

No GUI change, and DB schema changes. Just add three row to Interface_Type

Delete Branch "%!s()"

Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
