Hello,

I wanted to make a PR and discovered I have to create an issue first, so here we go.

I have made many french translation improvements:

https://github.com/netbox-community/netbox/compare/main...Silex:netbox:main

I don't want to spend more time on it by copying-pasting into transifex or whatever.

Some translations are according to our use case, feel free to apply only what fits.

Use case

It improves the french translation, especially for words like "job", "location" and the new translations that were missing.

Then I'm afraid you won't be able to contribute. Translation strings are managed exclusively in Transifex.

My colleague made the translations in transifex but there are 1760 pending translations and it looks like not much is happening there.

The French language has been 100% translated. There are unreviewed 1,760 translations (about 57%), meaning they have not been verified by a second person. You are welcome to sign up as a reviewer if you'd like to volunteer.

Is it maybe not used?

Again, please use Transifex. Translated strings are only propagated back to GitHub during the release process.
