Use case

To be able to associate each tunnel with a contact. This is very useful as tunnels need to be created with information exchanged with a peer.

this would be super handy. we track external customer contacts and being able to assign those external customers as responsible parties to our VPN tunnels would help our technicians know who to call if there are questions or concerns about a particular vpn tunnel.

This is one of 44 feature requests currently awaiting triage. The best way to free up time for maintainers to triage new issues is to volunteer for some of the 63 open issues which have already been triaged and are currently in need of an owner.
