It would be cool if komorebi had a logo and a program icon for completeness.

I'd be very happy if someone would like to contribute a logo that could also be used as a program icon. This is a great way to get involved with and contribute to the project for someone that has the design skills. 🙏

I'd like to take a crack at it, assuming there's no race to complete it!
Before I do, could you share the following:

In the meantime, I just messed around with some ideas here.. LMK what you think of the idea/direction. It's my first icon design ever, but I wanted to try to keep it to fluent paradigms.
Uses a particular font's quirky rendering of the 木 character from 木漏れ日.

@riotrah
You’re doing great job. However as a native Chinese speaker who knows Japanese I think it’s kind of weird to see that the character 木 (which means tree in Japanese) in the center of logo.
木漏れ日 just means “sunshine (or light) which is going through the trees in forest”. Personally I will choose to emphasize the light casting shadow to imitate the feeling.
Hope that will give you some inspiration. Great job.

@crosstyan Hey thanks! Great points - thematic alignment is important to me ( and presumably everyone else on the planet ), so I appreciate your help!
If by any chance you or anyone else wants to take stab at your suggestions or other changes until the next time I'm free to work on this, lemme know if there's anything I need to do ( like access permissions or anything like that ) to make it easier to "fork" my design and make variations.
