This was previously addressed but WSLg introduced breaking changes earlier this year, context: https://github.com/LGUG2Z/komorebi/issues/53#issuecomment-1186176573
I'm not personally prepared to put in any more work to support WSLg apps until it stabilizes, but I'll leave this issue open for anyone who wants this enough to pick it up. In the meantime I recommend using VcXsrv which is as stable and reliable as it has ever been.
@LGUG2Z commented on GitHub (May 12, 2024):
The official recommendation from this project is to use VcXsrv: https://sourceforge.net/projects/vcxsrv/
@madorian commented on GitHub (Oct 7, 2024):
I'm not sure I understand this. Everything is closed regarding this issue, but does it have any issues open? Is it supposed to work with GWSL or VcXsrv?
@LGUG2Z commented on GitHub (Oct 7, 2024):
VcXsrv is supported. WSLg may be revisited when it is finally stable, if it responds to basic Win32 API calls properly in the future.
@madorian commented on GitHub (Oct 7, 2024):
When you say VcXsrv, that also includes GWSL?
@LGUG2Z commented on GitHub (Oct 7, 2024):
I haven't heard of or tested against GWSL, so out of caution I'll say only VcXsrv at this point.
