Agreed, the first thing I do on Tailscale is change the device name.

While we should add this at some point, please note that you can just do this when you join the node to headscale.

Just pass --hostname to tailscale up.

--hostname: hostname to use instead of the one provided by the OS.

We can leave this issue, but it wont be a priority for a while, potentially after we have some sort of API instead of just the CLI.
