Describe the feature/enhancement
There's an option to ignore prefixes when sorting books. Can we extend that to series and collections as well. The user can be given the option to turn it on/off just like with the books.
It just seems odd to not find a series (or collection) where one thinks it might be in the list.

I'm not sure I understand. Currently the ignore prefixes when sorting is used for library items and series. This is not implemented at all for collections.
Given that, are you saying you want to be able to disable ignore prefixes when sorting for series while having it enabled for library items?
Then are you asking to implement the ignore prefixes for collections and also add a separate setting to control this?

If you just consider the 4 series in the image, the order (after ignore the prefixes) would be:
A Very Short Introduction
Terminal List Book Series
The Story of Civilization
The Witcher Series

After ignore prefixes would actually be the other way around. Your list would be without ignoring prefixes.

Okay, I mistook it, but that's how I would like my series. Because the setting is turned on for books, it also applies it to series. I want to turn it on for books, but not for series.
For example, I am okay with the way the books are displayed:
But I don't want the prefixes ignored in series.
Basically, I am saying that the option to turn on/off "ignore prefixes" should be available to series as well (and hopefully collections) and the setting (shown below) shouldn't be universal.
