i have some books in a series and when i click on the metadata it gets the bio and name but not the series its part of and the number in the series. also the Publish Year Subtitle genres tags narrartor are missing.

Series need to be in the same folder. See directory structure docs

See metadata mapping docs on what metadata from your audio files is getting pulled into audiobookshelf.

You would have to show me what metadata is set on your audio files for me to help you out further
