[Bug]: Crash of browser (mobile) when accessing podcasts with lots of episodes (>400) #3290

What happened?

I have numerous podcasts that hav more than 400 episodes. When I try to access them either with the mobile phone (current iPhone 17 PRO MAX with iOS 26.4) it loads for a second and then refreshes to the front-page/main page.

The same happens in the official audio bookshelf iOS app. I've reported the crash there as well.

What did you expect to happen?

I expect large podcasts to load / lazy load partially and load when I scroll. Large episodes counts should not overload browsers/clients.

Audiobookshelf version

v2.33.1

How are you running audiobookshelf?

Docker

What OS is your Audiobookshelf server hosted from?

Linux

If the issue is being seen in the UI, what browsers are you seeing the problem on?

Safari on iOS
