What happened?

My author list has several rows 90 author cards that have a blank author name with zero books. This is not the same problem as actual authors with zero books. These have blank author fields (at least it appears so), and when you click on "edit" it just stalls. They are not editable and cannot be removed.

What did you expect to happen?

Blank authors should not appear in the author list

Audiobookshelf version

v2.30.0

How are you running audiobookshelf?

Windows Tray App

What OS is your Audiobookshelf server hosted from?

Windows

I couldn’t see anything out of the ordinary in the browser log, but I spent a couple of hours scanning, moving, restarting of server and browsers, and then noticed the problem had resolved itself. Darn, I hate that. I have no idea what caused it, which of my many actions fixed it, or if it resolved on its own after some internal scan of some kind.

I’ll close it now, but these bugs that fix themselves are the kind of bugs that keep me up at night.
