What happened?

I migrated my Docker instance from Proxmox to baremetals machine.

  1. Stopped the docker instance.
  2. Copied over metadata, config, media files
  3. Spun it up again.
  4. Everything works except all the RSS feeds are gone. I can still play existing shows and episodes but when I want to search for shows by clicking on the "search icon"
  5. I have a backup of the episodes in an opml/xml file. I can add them one-by-one but that cumbersome.
  6. Is there a way to fix it.

Clicking search icon shows error

Fix / Temporary solution

  1. Manually add RSS url, see screenshot below
  2. This will not recognize episodes you already have downloaded and in your library. YOu have to run Quick Match All Episodes

You can see episodes but the ones that you have downloaded won't have a checkmark

These episodes were recently downloaded so they have a green check mark:

Pressing Quick Match All Episodes fixes it but you have to do it one-by-one for each podcast

You are given this warning but I don't fully understand what it means. It would be helpful to know what overwriting details means.

What did you expect to happen?

Expected all RSS feeds to be migrated when metadate and config folders were copied.

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Migrate instance as described above

Audiobookshelf version

v2.31

How are you running audiobookshelf?

Docker

What OS is your Audiobookshelf server hosted from?

Linux

If the issue is being seen in the UI, what browsers are you seeing the problem on?

None
