What happened?

I'm running the latest v2.31.0 using Docker Desktop on Win 10.

I create a test user and limited the access to entries by TAG and selected the specific tag I created and assigned specific books. When logged in to the test user, The library shows only those books with the tag but ALL authors and narrators, etc, are visible as selections when searching or filtering.

Also and mainly, in the Collections view, it shows Collections with entries that have NO TAGS at all. If i click on the title of the entry, it just goes back to the library so I can't access or play them but I can see them.

What did you expect to happen?

I would expect, when restricting visible entries based on tags, that only those entries which match the tag will be shown as search options, filter options, and collections or anywhere else. And entries with NO tags should also not allow the Collections to be visible even is the entry itself in not accessible.

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Have entries in the library with no tags
  2. Have other entries in the library with a specific tag to restrict user visibility
  3. Create user account limited to that specific tag
  4. Log in as new user
  5. See that search and filter library options still show full library list
  6. If entries with no tags are part of a collection, see that their collection appears in the Collection view
