What happened?

Cannot scroll page when the mouse pointer is inside a tool-tip or other page artefact boundary.

What did you expect to happen?

Page scrolling should be possible.

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Edit chapters (or view page with a tool-tip or other artefact on the page, e.g. book tile size)
  2. Move mouse pointer over any of the items with a tool-tip
  3. Try to use scroll-wheel to scroll page up/down
  4. Page will not scroll

Audiobookshelf version

v2.30.0

How are you running audiobookshelf?

Docker

What OS is your Audiobookshelf server hosted from?

Linux

If the issue is being seen in the UI, what browsers are you seeing the problem on?

Chrome

Logs

N/A

Additional Notes

It seems that anything that appears above the "page" prevents scrolling when the mouse pointer is over it, or within it's boundary - e.g. the tile size on the Home/Library/Series/Collections/Playlists/Authors page that looks like "(- 120 +)" or the "Close player" [X] icon on the audiobook player.

When the mouse pointer is over the the "Close player" [X] icon on the Narrators page, it appears not to have the same problem, although when the pointer is inside the player area, scrolling is not possible - this may be by design, although I don't think it is a desirable feature. 🙂
