Describe the Feature/Enhancement
I don't like that (unabridged) is automatically added to book titles. In my opinion, unabridged should be the default for a book and thus not need to be advertised in the title. However, if the book is abridged, it can be stated in the title.
I may not represent a majority of users' opinions and therefore suggest that this be removed from the title entirely and instead become a tag.
Why would this be helpful?

The books do not include any tags. You added a book that has this in the title. ABS does not add this itself. You either have a metadata provider that provided this data or it is set as a title in the metadata.

The Filename "Brudkistan [B0F91YL6HD].m4b" does not contain it, so it must be the metadata provider then. This is happening to every book I add now, so it take some work to manually edit every book added, Hence my frustration. But if it can't be fixed in software then i guess i'm stuck with it.
My proposal was that part of the title to be converted to a tag and removed in title regardless of origin. But it maybe is more of a metadata provider issue then.

It's not me to decide, but I would say this is the issue of the metadata provider.
But on a note: Which provider are you using? The audible one should not have unabridged in the title.
Maybe it's also Libation that adds this?

Standard is Google Books, audible is not so good at swedish books wich is mainly what I've got.
iTunes seem to add this to the title, I don't know if ABS default to iTunes if it is not satisfied with the results with the provider i have chosen.

When I add any new books I end up just using the Match option in the Edit page of the book to pull correct and updated info for the book. This Matches it with information found on Audible.com and will update the name, description, author, narrator, tags and genre.
I will also do the chapters cause when I add a book the chapters are usually messed up or are missing so I reset the chapters through the Edit page as well.
This will get you information for the whole book and make sure your chapters are correct with just a few clicks. It will also clear the unabridged from the name in the process and make sure your books are showing accurate information.

If you are using Libation to download your audiobooks, check these settings:
The title is being imported as part of the file's embedded metadata, Most of us prefer would consider "Abridged" a swear word.
