What happened?

When I match podcasts with iTunes as metadata provider, there is a "iTunes ID" field.

But it never actually gets written to:

It happens even when the box before it is checked. And when retrying it just gives the "No updates necessary" pop-up.

What did you expect to happen?

The "iTunes ID" field gets written if the box is checked.

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Add a podcast
  2. Match it with iTunes
  3. Verify that the "iTunes ID" field is checked
  4. Click "Submit"

Audiobookshelf version

v2.28.0

How are you running audiobookshelf?

Docker

What OS is your Audiobookshelf server hosted from?

Linux

If the issue is being seen in the UI, what browsers are you seeing the problem on?

I tried to manually add the iTunes ID to the field, to see if upon matching it would be turned into a blank field, but that doesn't happen. No matter what I put in the field, it stays, the field is not touched at all.

It's not a new issue, this also happened on previous versions of audiobookshelf. I started adding podcasts maybe a year ago and I've always had the same issue.

I tried making a new podcast library but it's the same.
