What happened?

Leaving the username and password fields blank in the email configuration result in an email error "Failed to verify SMTP connection configuration". Can you please allow us to send purely anonymous emails to our email server? I have my own email server/relay in this case.

Do you have any other logs/ more details?
What does your relay say etc.

Iirc there was at least one user that sucessfully had it working.

It's working.. this can be closed. Error on my part. Once I disabled "Reject unauthorized certificates" it's now working as expected.
