What happened?

I tried to upload my audiobooks in the .aif format and nothing showed up.

After quick discord chat, I got send the supported files types and noticed, that aiff is listed, but aif isn't.

Since they are the same file type, can the other spelling be added? To my understanding, there is no other difference.

What did you expect to happen?

That .aif opens natively.

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Upload .aif file

  2. Try to scan for it

    Not found

  3. Rename filetype to .aiff

  4. File opens

Docker

What OS is your Audiobookshelf server hosted from?

Linux
