What happened?

I have created two libraries - one for e-books and one for audio books.

To be able to see what e-books I have read when looking at the audio books I have created a tag called "E-book read by Jan-Eric". Then I added the tag to two Audio Books.

When I look on the settings page using the metadata tool I can see my new tag. But when I open the Library tab and try to filter the books based on my new tag I'll get the message "No tags".

I can filter my audio books on categories, authors, series etc - but not on tags since no tags are available.

What did you expect to happen?

I expected to see my new tag and be able to select it to see the two books I have added it to.

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Add a new tag.
  2. Add the tag on on or several books.
  3. Click on the tag description when looking at one of the books to confirm that the tag has been saved and are available.
  4. Click on Library at the far left of the screen.
  5. Try to filter on the tag you just entered.
  6. You will see the message "No tag" instead of the new tag you just added.

Afaik it takes time to "index" the books for a tag. A server-restart should do the trick iirc.
