Describe the Feature/Enhancement

Hey!! I want to move my metadata to a network share on my NAS but i see that logs are stored inside metadata folder.

Also, it has more sense to have this folder inside the config folder as it has nothing to do with metadata files.

Why would this be helpful?

if i move metadata folder that log directory will make a constant usage of my NAS drives.

Is it doable? On systems with big libraries this collapses docker-data FS
