Describe the Feature/Enhancement

There should be a silence detector in the chapter editor to help fine-tune chapter steps. This would be especially helpful where you are additng additional chapter stops and want to fine-tune the stop so that the chapter begins a quarter second prior to new audio.

Why would this be helpful?

Currently, if you are adjusting the chapter stop, you have to add a second or two at a time, then test by pressing the play button button repeatedly.

IMO this is out of scope for abs. There are tools that do that and can then embed the chapters then

I think there is so much improvement in this sector that it is hard to keep up... It would also be nice to have an epub to audio book generator.

If you would like to see an automagic chapter generator, take a look. It has a GUI that works together with and epub and Whisper (Speech to text) to mark the chapters automatically without any user interaction.
