Is it possible to add a option for users to upload author's poster manually from local storage?

Why would this be helpful?

I found that the author's images can only be gotten from the online url in version v2.19.5, but there are many authors I can't find the exactly image url source and they can't be matched from the auto match, instead finding a image for certain author would be simple for me, so I wonder if it possible to add a option for users to upload author's poster manually from local storage? Thanks.
