What happened?

After initially scanning the library folder for audiobooks, i noticed that the description metadata shown in the client was taken from the comment tags instead of the description tags. My library has both m4b and mp3, but i only care about the m4b files. The debuglevel logging shows nothing considering the parsing of the tags. I'm running the server on a synology nas (dsm 7.2) with docker. Here is ffprob & tone dump from one of the files:

After initially scanning the library folder for audiobooks, i noticed that the description metadata shown in the client was taken from the comment tags instead of the description tags. My library has both m4b and mp3, but i only care about the m4b files. The debuglevel logging shows nothing considering the parsing of the tags. I'm running the server on a synology nas (dsm 7.2) with docker. How did you add the description metadata?
The details you provided show that the description is placed in the lyrics tag. And since the actual description tag is empty, the comment tag is used as a fallback.

Yeah there is no description tag set. The lyrics tag isn't used by Abs.

Tone shows both the lyrics and description tag (at the end), which i think is the unrecognized stream in ffprobe at the very end. I thought i read in some issue comments that u were using/moving from ffprobe to tone around 2023/24? Most m4b files are created with Libation and further edited with mp3tag and tone. The lyrics and description values differ frome one another. I think the lyrics tag is unedited by me, set by libation. The description tag i edited with mp3tag. Sorry if i got this mixed up, i guess if abs is not using tone it for sure is an issue with differnence in mp3tags and ffmpegs implementaion of tags of some sort.
