What happened?

Here are the following symptoms:
Won't stop scanning. I have to stop the app in the Container Mgr(Synology)

ABS settings on my synology
abs settings.docx

What did you expect to happen?

Stop scanning and add new books

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. I look in the metadata/log/daily and metadata/logs/scans, there is no files present.
I have imported old .audiobookshelf files without success.
I have reinstalled 2.18.1 update without success.
I have removed the latest 50gb of new book to see if it was some bad audio files that were messing up the scanning.
I have tried swapping out the absdatabase.sqlite with no success.
I have three libraries one of audiobooks and two of just epubs.
Also, I have to export .audiobookshelf files out of the app because I cant find it afterwards, this is not critical at the moment. I always save these off the system and do it often anyway. Any Ideas?

It still sounds like there is an issue with the mounts points if the SQLite database is not available in the file system and you must manually export backups from the web client. The mounts points do look correct, though.

You probably don't want to have the backups stored under /config.

If you create a new container with a new config and metadata path (so like /volume1/docker/audiobookshelf2/config), does that work?

Can I create a second instance of ABS without changing the first?

Can you look at the docker logs?
What about the logs page in Abs?
You need to find a log somewhere
