Type of Enhancement

Web Interface/Frontend

Describe the Feature/Enhancement

currently when I open the app, all the books disappear from view until it's contacted the server, and it takes awhile to show everything when the server is found again. Maybe instead of assuming the server isn't going to be available, assume the opposite. Only if the server does not become available, then gray out results on the server.

Why would this be helpful?

The experience right now is so disruptive because I have to wait to see the results when it connects. Things like playlists also don't depend on the server anyway, so why not keep displaying things with the assumption the server WILL be available?

Future Implementation (Screenshot)

this is only on initial load (which is frequent) so I'm not sure what to put here as it would just look lke it is when the server is accessible

Audiobookshelf Server Version

v2.17.7

Current Implementation (Screenshot)

This is specific to https://github.com/advplyr/audiobookshelf-app

There are several feature requests around supporting offline libraries and caching for the app in the repo.
