What happened?

I was testing my new deployment of Audiobookshelf and was uploading my first audiobook. It took a long time and I got distracted, doing something else on my computer. The error message flashed for too short time, not letting me read it.

What did you expect to happen?

The message persists until I acknowledge it

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Play with max_upload_size in Nginx (or a similar setting, can't remember exact name)
  2. Upload a large file from a slow connection
  3. Go to sleep
  4. Wake up to a general "error" screen with context already lost

Audiobookshelf version

e6ce9dfffe56

How are you running audiobookshelf?

Docker

What OS is your Audiobookshelf server hosted from?

Linux

If the issue is being seen in the UI, what browsers are you seeing the problem on?

Firefox

Logs

No response

Additional Notes

No response

@nichwall commented on GitHub (Dec 21, 2024):

Is this a full page error, a toast error (little red box in the corner), an error in a specific part of the page?

Can you provide a screenshot of where the error is for context?
