What happened?

After listening to audio book on phone when the computer with the audio book server is turned on and the Android app connects to it, the phone syncs the current position back wards to the last listened position on the server.

What did you expect to happen?

I expect the syncing to occur to the most advanced point listened to. In this case I expect the server to sync forward to match the curreny position on the android app.

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Listen to audiobook on phone whilst disconnected from server.
  2. Turn on server.
  3. Open app on phone.

Audiobookshelf version

2.15.0

How are you running audiobookshelf?

Windows Tray App

What OS is your Audiobookshelf server hosted from?

Windows

If the issue is being seen in the UI, what browsers are you seeing the problem on?

None

Logs

No response

Additional Notes

Android app is 0.9.76

This is a known issue and reported on the audiobookshelf-app repo. You can work around it for now by closing the audio player or exiting out of the app after ending a session
